FDA does not issue certificates of registration for food, device, drug or cosmetic facilities, and does not recognize certificates issued by private companies. Registration with FDA also does not mean FDA has approved or cleared a facility or its products.

How to verify a registration yourself

Device establishments can be checked in FDA's public Establishment Registration & Device Listing database; drug establishments in FDA's Drug Establishments Current Registration Site. Food facility registrations are not public by law.
